What is thermoforming?
Thermoforming is a technique which consists in taking a material on sheet forms (PMMA, Plexiglas, Polycarbonate, Lexa, etc.), heating it until it became softer, and taking advantage of this ductility to shape it with a mold. The material hardens when it cools, keeping this shape. Thermoformable plastics have a wide spectrum of colors and aspects: matt, shiny, satin, smooth, grained…
What is anamorphic printing?
Anamorphosis is the reversible deformation of an image using an optical system or a mathematical transformation. Anamorphic printing is a post-thermoforming industrial process, based on the calculation of the deformation coefficient.
